Director ID deadline reminder

The ATO reminds all existing directors of a company, registered Australian body, registered foreign company, or a director of corporate trustees of an SMSF are required to apply for a director identification number (director ID) by 30 November 2022.

The fastest way to apply is by using the myGovID app to log in to ABRS online. Watch the demonstration video in the link below showing the steps to apply online.

If you are a director appointed under the Office of the Registrar of Indigenous Corporations (ORIC), you will have longer to apply. For more information, see who needs to apply and when in the link below.
